Amanda Shoemaker - One Of Each Blog - Fashion Blog

My wife had been searching for fur vests for a while now and it seemed like the few that we found in the mall we not the kinds that were on trend. We decided to take our search online by searching for keywords like fur vests for sale and fur jackets for sale we found MLFurs.com and they were exactly the styles she was looking for. Talk about a huge variety of furs in all different animals, colors and cuts. We probably spent over an hour looking at all the different furs they had to offer before she finally decided on a Coyote Sections Vest and a Rabbit Fur.

We got the vest just in time for our trip to New York City for fashion week and she definitely got a lot of compliments throughout the night. Plus the weather was a lot cooler in New York than here in Phoenix so not only did the vest look good, but it was very practical. She looked amazing and overall the trip was a success. Here is to feeling and looking good.

Scrub Uniforms

Monday, October 10th, 2011

My sister just completed her bachelors degree in nursing and after the pinning ceremony we all went out to eat dinner. I was asking her some questions about nursing and asked her where she got her scrub uniforms from. As far as I knew there was a Scrubs-R-Us or something. She told me she orders them online from http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. They have a huge selection of scrubs and nursing uniforms like pullover, shoes, tops and bottoms. She told me they are supper durable which in her profession is important cause they last longer and they also can protect you from chemicals and even blades and needles in some extreme cases.

My sister has a slim frame and that is another thing she mentioned was that they scrubs were slim fitting and very modern looking. It’s not that they look that different just a little more cutting edge and flattering than the baggy scrubs that you see at Walmart and other scrub shops around. I didn’t even think they made scrubs like that anymore. All I do know is that if I ever end up in the hospital it is very reassuring that I will be taken care of by very competent and caring nurses and doctors like my sister.

Disney

Saturday, October 8th, 2011

Thanks for the post, Kathy Shelton

My wife and I recently decided to take the kids on a trip to Disney World in Orlando Florida. We had been thinking about taking this trip for a long time but we always concluded that the kids were just too young to enjoy a weeklong trip to Disney. There is so much to do at the park and once you’ve purchased a weeks worth of tickets, a hotel room, and plane travel it is an expensive vacation so I wanted to make sure that the kids would have a great time and more importantly actually be able to remember it. My parents took me the Disney when I was about ten years old and it remains one of the best trips I’ve ever taken with my family. I hope that this experience can mean as much to them one day as it does to me. A friend of mine takes his family on great vacation every year and I asked him things we should do while in the Orlando area. Although, he gave me some great advice he also mentioned cable tv deals which wasn’t vacation related but made the entire conversation worth it.

Airsoft Time

Friday, September 30th, 2011

This past weekend some buddies and I played our first round of Airsoft. We got tired of laser tag and paintball and wanted to step up our game to a new level that was more like the real thing. Now I suppose you are wondering, What is Airsoft? Airsoft a recreational activity similar to paintball but instead of paintball you shoot plastic BB’s. You have replica firearms that are just like the real thing to give you that feeling of using a real firearm. Airsoft is a lot less sever as an air gun like some police officers and security guards use. You still know when you get hit.

I had a blast, there is something about running around with a firearm that give you such a rush or high feeling. Now you can play several different scenarios when you are out on the course. We did a few games where a few of us were robbers and the others were police officers. We also did several games kind of similar to a war game or capture the flag. I will tell you one thing though, the BB’s hurt a lot more than a paintball but it’s like they say… “no pain, no gain”.

Search Engine Optimization

Social Good
Via: Wpromote

There are other creative ways to achieve search engine optimization without using all the keywords and link sharing. Become a force, Toms is a great example of a company that through social responsibility found their niche and took off from there. The traffic they receive makes them a dominant force on the web for top keywords long and short tailed. As you can see in the graphic above other companies are succeeding as well such as One Hope and Acai Spirit.

So create a sound brand and niche for your company and people will not just find you, they will come looking for you. Good luck.

Generator Accessory Alert

Yamaha EF Fuel Extender

I’ve found the best generator accessory and once you’ve owned it for a weekend it will have worked itself off hence being a free generator accessory.  I’m talking about the one and only Breeze Extended Run Generator System offered by www.mygeneratoraccessories.com this thing is the best.

What do most sportsman drive?  Pickups at 14mpg.  Lets say your out in the woods for a week and you need an inverter generator to power your camp.  This generator accessory will keep the fuel in your truck and in your generator; well sort of.  You see what IPI Industries came up with is an aluminum cap, quick connect coupler, low permeation fuel line, and an external fuel tank.  IPI Industries named this the BERG System or Breeze Extended Run Generator System.  The public calls it a fuel extender, or long run generator accessory.

The Breeze Extended Run Generator System made by IPI Industries and offered by mygeneratoraccessories.com is the best generator accessory in the cluttered generator accessories market.  They clearly dominate the field in extended run generator systems and fuel extenders.  They have compatible models for the Honda EU, Yamaha EF, Generac IX, All Power APG, and ETQ IN series inverter generators.  Honda generator accessories are a large seller as they have the top selling inverter generator in the marketplace.

Inverter generator accessories are a growing segment with increased population and displacement of people from hurricanes, blizzards, floods, power outages, storms, natural disasters, camping, RV, and construction.

If you own an inverter generator you have to own this generator accessory.  The IPI Industries fuel extender will enhance your generator ownership experience.  Happy generator accessories shopping.

Recording Drum Tracks

Aaron Studio

This last weekend I was in the studio laying down some final drum tracks to be sent off to Sage Audio, an online mastering service based in Nashville. The tracks are for a few songs I have been working on the past year or so and are finally almost finished and I couldn’t be happier. I like the idea of music mastering online in this day and age because of the ease of passing computer files back and forth in real time. This wasn’t possible a few years ago and back when parents were my age musicians had to travel back and forth to studios and physically be there where today I can record my drum tracks at anytime of day in any city or state and send them off to be mastered halfway around the county. I can also have access to my mastered audio tracks to preview anywhere in the world from any laptop, computer or mobile device. The pros at Sage Audio have been killing it at taking my tracks to the next level and I can’t wait to share the final product with you guys.

If you are a local artist and looking to get great quality recording mixes and mastering check out their site for a great list or prices and samples you won’t be disappointed.

The Twins Birthday

Twins Party Photo

This weekend we had the twins 2nd birthday party. There was a petting zoo, carnival games, dunk tank and even a clown who painted faces for our guests. The kids had a great time and I think the parents enjoyed themselves as well. For food we rented a hotdog machine, popcorn, chips and some pasta salads. There were plenty of treats for the kids too. We had snow cones, cupcakes, fun sized candy bars and more juice boxes then we knew what to do with.

Unlike the party itself, planning the party wasn’t so fun. My wife had called and drove to several party stores around the valley in search for items on our massive birthday party supplies list. After coming short on a lot of the items from our list we decided to take our search online.

We herd about U.S. Toy.com, an online party supply store from a friend and we found a lot of the items that we couldn’t find in our neighborhood party stores. We ordered squeaky hammers, clown noses, flower bowler hats and circus temporary tattoos that the kids just loved. Overall the party was a success and we would like to thank everyone who came out and shared the twins birthday with us. If you are planning a party and looking for any hard to find party items for a great price check out U.S. Toys.

The Perfect Honeymoon

Shoemaker's Honeymoon

It’s been over a year since we got back from our honeymoon and I can’t believe where all that time went. We had such a great wedding and couldn’t thank our friends and families enough. I just though since it has been a year since the honeymoon I would write a little update for our friends and family.

After the wedding we flew out of Minneapolis to Miami, Florida where a shuttle took us straight to the crusise ship docks. Now keep in mind the biggest boats we have ever been on were ferry boats on the river so this was quiet the sight to see all the massive cruise ships docked in the same harbor. There was some from disney cruises, celebrity cruises and we were on caribbean cruise shipped called the “Majesty of The Seas”.

The cruise lasted 5 days 4 nights and we traveled to the Bahamas and back. It was really crazy to sit up on the deck and see nothing but water as far as the eye could see. I didn’t sleep very well the first night but after that I slept fine I guess the waves take some getting used to. The entertainment on the ship was amazing as well. We took in a show, had some great dinner, spent an entire night at the on board casino and had a lot of fun hanging out in the pool and drinking piña coladas. We can’t wait to plan our next cruise and get back out on the open waters.

Water Damage Again

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

With the recent monsoons hitting the southwest we had a leak on the ceiling in our living room. I decided to search the net for some helpful water damage claim tips and found some really great advice I would like to share with you guys. The most important first step is to make sure your home is safe. A leaky roof or flooded floor could leave your home in an unsafe unlivable condition. After assuring your safety it is necessary to asses the damage. Knowing where all the damage has occurred in your home or apartment can not only tell your insurance company what your damages are, but will also help locate the problem and allow repair crews to fix the problem in a efficient manner.

The Steam Team based in Austin, TX specializes in inspection and Assessments to homes, apartments and business. Their services include water removal, anti-microbial application and several drying techniques which include air movement, dehumidifying and location monitoring. It is important to act quickly with any sort of flooding or leaking as water damage can produce dangerous mold and mildew as well as damage to the property’s foundation.
